Waterville Valley Resort opens fastest chairlift in New Hampshire
Tecumseh Express, the fastest chairlift in New Hampshire, made its debut at Waterville Valley Resort on Dec. 12, 2022.
Built by Bartholet AG and installed by MND Group, this new 6-passenger, canopied express chairlift is the first of its kind in the United States.
Carrying 3,200 passengers/hour, the new chairlift will climb to the top of Mount Tecumseh, improving access to high country and upper mountain terrain for intermediate and advanced skiers.
"The opening of the Tecumseh Express enhances and strengthens the ski experience we are committed to both in our day-to-day operations and as part of our long-term expansion plans," affirms Tim Smith, president and general manager of Waterville Valley Resort.
