Production

The entire production of Bartholet products takes place in the numerous workshops in Flums, Switzerland. The 350 qualified employees produce complex welding constructions in the locksmithery and operate the latest machining centres and handling robots in mechanics. We also have a laser and bending centre as well as the most modern production centre in Switzerland with large-scale machining and an 8-metre carousel lathe. This means that the individual components of the systems are manufactured professionally and to proven Swiss quality.

The subsequent assembly work is also carried out according to the Bartholet principles of "professionalism and reliability". Whether factory assembly of sophisticated units or installation of entire ropeways and steel structures - our qualified assembly teams give their best!

Infrastructure

The Bartholet has a modern production facility for mechanical processing. The machine park is equipped with the latest technology and allows high flexibility and very short production times. The production range extends from medium to large parts in a fully automated production. The high availability and sustained precision of these more than 40 centres, which have been completely thought out from a technical point of view, make it possible to fulfil every special customer requirement in a professional manner.

 

This is where Swiss quality comes from

Since 2018, Bartholet has had the most modern milling and turning machine centre in Switzerland at its disposal. The large drive and deflection wheels are at the heart of a ropeway system. Machining these workpieces, which weigh tons, to the highest precision requires a high level of manufacturing expertise. On the one hand, these are very large components with correspondingly high weights; on the other hand, accuracies are required with tolerance limits in the micrometer range. The 220 ton carousel lathe Bimatec Soraluce VTC-8000 perfectly supports us with the possibility of manufacturing workpieces up to 8 meters in diameter.

In 2018, a new 5,000 m2 production hall for ropeway gondolas was completed in Flums. The new building consists of two floors and a basement. First and foremost, the panorama gondolas will be manufactured in the new hall.
