8-seater gondola lift in San Domenico, Italy

San Domenico is a district of Varzo and lies 1,420 m above sea level in the north of Piedmont. It is part of a valley in the Lepontine Alps, surrounded by mountains, forests and small lakes, close to the Swiss border. It is one of the last places in the Alps where you can still experience the mountains completely untouched, both in the hiking season and in the ski season. Our 8-passenger panoramic gondola lift is now available here for a comfortable and attractive ride.

The lift has been in operation since last winter and is now fully completed and ready for the coming ski season, providing a fast and convenient connection from the valley station (1,375 m) via the middle station to the mountain station (1,935 m).
This lift has significantly improved access to the various altitude levels of the ski area.

The path through the forest between San Domenico and Alpe Ciamporino was also recently restored.
This lift allows us to enjoy the spectacular views of nature during both skiing and mountaineering seasons.
