8-seater gondola lift in Meiling, Jiangxi China

Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, lies on the southern shore of Poyang Lake, the largest freshwater lake in China. The new cable car system was officially approved here and is now in operation. It connects the city of Nanchang directly with the impressive nature of the park.

The new cable car system extends over a total length of 5.5 kilometers, divided into two sections. At 4.2 kilometers, The first section, at 4.2 kilometers, is the longest and offers an especially impressive ride. A total of 112 panoramic gondolas are available, designed by the renowned Studio F. A. Porsche. They guarantee maximum comfort and an incomparable view of the landscape.

The system is equipped with state-of-the-art cable car technology to ensure a safe and pleasant ride. This includes a high conveyor capacity for a smooth flow of visitors, vibration-damped cabins for maximum comfort and energy-efficient drive systems with automatic speed control. This is complemented by comprehensive safety mechanisms such as redundant braking systems and continuous real-time monitoring.
