New Project in the Valais Alps

Construction of the new 6-seater chairlift "Lac des Vaux" has started in the 4 Vallées ski area.
The new installation replaces the existing 2-seater lift and offers significant improvements in terms of comfort, capacity, and operational efficiency.

• Transport capacity: 1,600 persons per hour
• 28 chairs
• Line length: 735 meters

The new chairlift is located in a scenic, snow-sure area. The high-altitude location ensures an extended ski season.

The top station is situated on a narrow ridge, which presents particular construction challenges due to limited space and the exposed position.

The chairs have been specially designed for windy conditions and feature a cut-out in the backrest to reduce wind resistance.
