Material lifts

Material ropeways are aerial ropeways used for the transport of goods such as ores or foodstuffs. The vehicles are so-called lorries with which bulk goods can be transported. Larger material ropeways are usually designed as two-cable ropeways, with a supporting cable for each direction and a circulating traction cable that moves the lorries.
