Group lifts

A group lift is a gondola lift in which several groups of two to six gondolas are clamped at close intervals to a winding rope or a pulling rope. From a technical point of view, the group gondolas are usually single-cable gondolas and the group reversible gondolas are two- or three-cable reversible gondolas. However, there are also mixed forms, such as double-cable group orbits. The individual gondolas of a group lift usually offer space for 8 to 15 passengers.
