Bartholet Secures Contract for Building New Cable Car Systems

Bartholet Maschinenbau AG is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to construct three new cable car systems in Gstaad.


The contract consists of three sections and was tendered in early 2024:


Cable Car 1:
A 10-passenger gondola lift from Schönried to Horneggli-Hornberg, consisting of two sections with an intermediate station.


Cable Car 2:
A 6-seater chairlift connecting Saanenwald to Horeflue.


Cable Car 3:
A chairlift linking Gfell to Horeflue.


After negotiations in June 2024, Destination Gstaad AG awarded Bartholet the contract for the cable car technology.
