112 gondolas bring city and nature closer

Our Meiling project in the Meiling National Scenic Area is progressing rapidly. The route of this large project with 112 gondolas starts directly from Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province, runs via a middle station and connects the city with nature - lakes, waterfalls and streams, bamboo forests and rice fields.

This 5.5 km long Ropeway has 2 sections, whereby the first section is particularly impressive with a length of 4.2 km. The garage in the bottomstation is large enough to safely accommodate all 112 gondolas. Hier we used the Sermer control system for the first time in China.


Nanchang, an important transportation hub, has always held strategic significance in various dynasties and during modern crises. The panoramic gondolas designed by Studio F. A. Porsche give the city a new appearance and are a tourist attraction that offers visitors an impressive view as well as a remarkable natural experience.
