Detachable 8-seater gondola lift in Laoshan, China

The Laoshan mountain range is located east of Qingdao on the coast of the Yellow Sea and is majestically surrounded by mountains. The new detachable 8-seater panoramic gondola with glass floor, Design by Porsche Design Studio, with an inclined length of around 850 meters transports 2000 passengers per hour to a panoramic summit throughout the year. The modern lift overcomes a vertical rise of 220 meters in just 3.5 minutes at a line speed of five meters per second. The installation is equipped with Direct Drive, a low-noise, environmentally friendly high-performance direct drive system.
