Over 180 decision-makers from international delegations were in attendance, which bears testament to the event’s major international standing. In all, 68 countries were represented, which reinforces Mountain Planet’s status as an unmissable event for the mountain industry community. Professionals also took part in international conferences and roundtables to address the issues and challenges facing the industry, as well as check out the latest innovations from around the world and the hottest trends and technologies for developing sustainable mountain activities in the winter and summer. Every two years since 1974, the Grenoble events centre has been organising and playing host to the largest international gathering of mountain industry professionals, including stakeholders involved in developing the urban landscape. The quality and representative nature of the exhibitors attending the show has forged the event’s reputation as a key global hub for doing business, expanding networks and sensing the industry’s future trends. For the 2024 edition of the Mountain Planet show, over 23604 professionals from around the world flocked to the 50000 m² events venue, representing all the global players actively involved in developing the mountain sector ecosystem (manufacturers, elected officials, local authorities, accommodation providers, ski area operators, etc.).
