Construction update from Muttrah, Oman

In Muttrah, a port city in Oman, construction work has commenced on a new gondola lift installation. The system consists of two sections and is set to support the development of tourism in the region.

The cabins accommodate eight passengers and feature the Design by Porsche Design Studio, combining a modern appearance with a high level of comfort.

Section 1: 1,518 metres
Section 2: 1,178 metres
Vertical rise: 100 metres

One of the valley stations is located directly at the harbour, where cruise ships regularly dock. This provides visitors with convenient access to the gondola lift and offers panoramic views of Muttrah and the surrounding mountains.

Oman is often referred to as the «Switzerland of the Middle East». We are delighted to realise this project in such a diverse and impressive country.
