Successful inaugural season of the new gondola lift in San Domenico, Italy

Following the successful completion of all tests and official approval, the new gondola lift started its first season of operation. Over a line length of 1.5 kilometres, the installation overcomes a vertical rise of 560 metres and transports up to 1800 passengers per hour.

The 40 modern eight-seater cabins, featuring the «Design by Porsche Design Studio», offer a high level of comfort and ensure a fast and smooth connection via the mid station between the valley station at 1375 metres and the mountain station at 1935 metres.

With this new installation, access to the various altitude levels of the ski area has been significantly improved. Our sincere thanks go to everyone involved in the planning and realisation of this project.
