Ski Lifts
A ski lift is a facility designed to transport passengers uphill while they remain on skis or other sports equipment on the ground, using a tow mechanism. The lift operates with a circulating haul rope running at a height of approximately three to four meters, to which tow bars are attached via a winding mechanism. There are T-bar lifts with single-person bars (commonly on beginner slopes) and platter or anchor lifts for two passengers in short or long versions (bar ski lifts).
