Gondola Lifts

Loop ropeways are a type of continuous transport system. The vehicles move in a loop at a constant speed. For smooth boarding and alighting at stations, the vehicles are detached from the rope and their speed is appropriately reduced. The vehicles are then re-coupled to the haul rope and accelerated.
