RopeTwin project in Rodi

The small Rodi–Tremorgio cableway, which connects the valley with the famous fishing lake Lago Tremorgio, is currently undergoing renovation.

The station buildings will be retained, while the entire technical equipment and control system will be completely renewed.

The two existing lattice towers will be replaced by a single, spectacular 42 m-high tubular steel tower, dividing the line into two sections of approximately 650 m each.

The mountain station, which is accessible only by helicopter, represents a multifaceted challenge throughout the entire construction period.
