Hamad International Airport has developed into a global player over recent years and has become an important hub for a large number of connections.

The aircraft stands at the new airport are heavily utilised, which results in a recurring need for expansions. Some stands were even designed as temporary solutions: the foundation blocks are mobile and can be relocated entirely together with the lighting masts to a new stand whenever required.
