8-seater gondola lift in San Domenico, Italy

San Domenico is a hamlet of Varzo and is located at an altitude of 1420 m in the north of Piedmont. It lies in a valley of the Lepontine Alps, surrounded by mountains, forests and small lakes, close to the Swiss border. It is one of the last places in the Alps where the mountains can still be experienced in an entirely unspoilt state, both during the hiking season and the ski season. Here, our 8-seater panoramic gondola lift is now available, offering a comfortable and attractive ride.

The installation has already been in operation since last winter and is now fully completed and ready for the upcoming ski season, providing a fast and comfortable connection from the valley station (1375 m) via the intermediate station to the mountain station (1935 m). This lift has significantly improved access to the various altitude levels of the ski area.

The forest path between San Domenico and Alpe Ciamporino has also recently been restored. With this lift, visitors can enjoy spectacular views of nature while skiing as well as hiking.
