Construction works in Cassons

Construction work is underway at the mountain station in Cassons near Flims. The construction site, located at 2500 metres above sea level, is accessible exclusively by helicopter, requiring all materials and personnel to be transported by air.

Thanks to the new ropeway, the Cassons area, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sardona, will become accessible again. In winter, a freeride slope leads down to the valley, while in summer a variety of hiking routes offer spectacular views of the Tschingelhörner.
