Bartholet awarded contract for new ropeway installations
Bartholet Maschinenbau AG is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract for the construction of three new ropeway installations in Gstaad.
The contract comprises three lots and was tendered at the beginning of 2024.
Installation 1
A 10-passenger gondola lift from Schönried to Horneggli–Hornberg, consisting of two sections with an intermediate station.
Installation 2
A 6-seater chairlift connecting Saanenwald with Horeflue.
Installation 3
A chairlift connecting Gfell with Horeflue.
Following negotiations in June 2024, Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad AG awarded Bartholet the contract for the ropeway technology. Matthias In-Albon, CEO of Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad AG, expressed his enthusiasm:

With these new ropeway installations, Gstaad continues its long-standing tourism tradition while combining it with state-of-the-art technology.
