Annual maintenance of the drop tower in Doha

The Bartholet drop tower in Doha has been a popular adventure attraction since 2019. Every year, we work together with Doha Quest to carry out maintenance and ensure the safety of the guests. The tower is moved up and down by two ropes, with the seats inclined forward by 10° and reaching a maximum speed of 7 m/s. The drive system is installed at ground level, and a mechanical tensioning weight provides the required rope tension.
