A major milestone for India

Our cabins for the Varanasi cableway have been successfully installed on the rope, and the first test runs have already taken place. This marks an important milestone for India’s first urban cableway project.

The project not only represents progress in passenger transport, but also introduces a new approach to urban mobility in historically grown cities. The Varanasi cableway will help reduce traffic congestion, shorten travel times and provide a modern commuting experience – while preserving the city’s cultural and spiritual character.

This achievement is the result of dedicated teamwork and precise technical execution, from concept development and planning through export, logistics, construction and system integration.
