Another milestone has been reached: The three towers of the new RopeTwin connection between Wiler and Weissenried have been successfully installed.

A Super Puma helicopter was used to transport the individual tower components into the challenging alpine terrain. Once assembled, the towers reach heights of up to 39 metres. Installation operations of this kind require close coordination between the flight crew and the assembly team, as well as the highest level of precision at every stage of the work./span>

From mid-December onward, the new connection will ensure the transportation of passengers and materials, as well as provide access for emergency services to the area around Blatten that was affected by the natural disaster.
