Greppon Blanc project update: The new 6-seater chairlift is taking shape
Construction and installation work on the new detachable 6-seater chairlift Les Chottes – La Meina – Greppon Blanc continues to progress. Over the past few weeks, important milestones have been reached at the stations and along the line.
The mountain station is now largely installed, with the installation of the station cladding currently following. The mid-station has also been installed. In parallel, construction of the adjacent garage is progressing. Once the necessary interfaces are in place, the technical equipment will be installed inside.
With the installation of the valley station about to begin, the project is entering its next important phase. At the same time, electrical wiring of the mountain and mid-stations will begin, along with further preparations for the rope installation.
Logistics in the alpine terrain continue to play an important role. Helicopters are being used to transport towers and other system components to their designated positions. Precise coordination between transport, installation and on-site work ensures efficient progress under demanding conditions.
Step by step, the project continues to take shape. With the upcoming station works, technical installations and rope installation, key milestones now lie ahead on the way to completing the new connection at Greppon Blanc.
