Construction Progress at the Wiler–Weissenried Project
Since construction began in early May, intensive work has been underway on the Wiler–Weissenried project site. Our project team is driving the work forward with great commitment and dedication. The progress achieved in June highlights the ambitious project schedule.
The new connection is scheduled to provide year-round, reliable access between Wiler and Weissenried from mid-December 2026. Designed for high operational reliability and efficiency, the RopeTwin installation will play a key role in the accessibility of the region. In addition to transporting passengers, the system will support logistical operations and ensure access for emergency services while the new cantonal road is under construction.
