Official opening ceremony of the Lac des Vaux 2 – 6-seater chairlift in Verbier
Last weekend marked the official opening of the project, a significant moment for the region and another step in the continuous development of the Verbier ski area.
We would like to thank you for the fantastic event. Under perfect weather conditions and during a festive inauguration, we were able to present our opening gift—a carved wooden bench—before enjoying a pleasant aperitif together.
Since the start of the 2025/2026 winter season, the new Lac des Vaux 2 six‑seater chairlift has been in operation. The modern installation replaces the previous chairlift from 1988 and provides a substantial improvement in comfort and speed.
