Telemix 4/8 in Moscow, Russia

In 2018, a unique ropeway installation by Bartholet was inaugurated in the heart of Russia’s capital. It allows passengers to travel comfortably and quickly from the Olympic stadium «Luzhniki» in central Moscow to the city’s highest point, «Vorobyovy Gory». In doing so, the ropeway crosses the Moskva River, and in the second section of the installation, 4-seater chairs circulate in addition to the 8-seater gondolas. The straight-line distance between the two locations is only 700 m; by car, however, a detour of 6.5 km and at least 15 minutes is required. The ropeway is used both as an urban transport system and as a tourist attraction, as well as for winter sports passenger transport.
