In 2018, a unique Bartholet cable car was opened in the heart of the Russian capital. Passengers can thus travel comfortably and quickly from the Olympic Stadium "Luschniki" in the centre of Moscow to the highest point of the city "Vorobyovy Gory". It crosses the river Moskva and in the 2nd section of the complex there are 4-seater chairs in circulation in addition to the 8-seater gondolas. The linear distance between the two places is only 700 m, but by car you have to take a detour of 6,5 km and at least 15 minutes. The cable car is used as an urban transport system on the one hand, but also as a tourist attraction and winter sports passenger transport on the other.
