Start of construction "Flem Xpress" with the world novelty "Ropetaxi"

At the end of June 2022, the planning approval and construction permit was granted by the Federal Office of Transport for the newly developed Ropetaxi by Bartholet, which moves autonomously and individually in the stations according to passenger volume and selected destination.

This marked the symbolic auguration ceremony in Flims for this construction project. Currently, the shell of the Startgels station, i.e. excavation, master builder work and slope stabilization, is taking place and should be completed before the end of the year. In addition, construction of the support foundations for section 2 has started. In the coming weeks, the first ropeway components will be transported to the construction site.

Commissioning of this world first in the first two sections will take place in December 2023.
